Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The author must confirm that the article has not been published elsewhere and that it will not be sent to another publication of any kind unless it is declined by Symphonya.Emerging Issues in Management (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

    Declaration of interest. All authors must disclose any financial and personal relationships with other people or organizations that could inappropriately influence (bias) their work. Authors must disclose any interests in declaration of the manuscript file.

    Authors must disclose any financial relationships they have with companies cited in the proposed article. Authors should declare that all work in their submitted article is original, and cite content from other sources appropriately to avoid plagiarism.
  • Use of Generative AI. AI tools cannot be listed as an author of a paper. Authors who use AI tools in the writing of a manuscript, production of images or graphical elements of the paper, or in the collection and analysis of data, must be transparent in disclosing in a note of the First Paragraph of the paper. You must describe how the AI tool was used and which tool was used. Authors are fully responsible for the content of their manuscript, even those parts produced by an AI tool, and are thus liable for any breach of publication ethics.
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found below in the About the Journal section.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions below have been followed.
  • Blind Review
    Do not provide authorship information (name, institution, titles). Leave the words “Name Surname” in _Symphonya_’s template and do not provide your details in the note concerning position and affiliation. If you cite your own work, make your references using the third person. For example, avoid expressions like “As I (we) have demonstrated in my (our) my previous work”.

Author Guidelines

  1. Symphonya uses OJS, a web-based, automated, submission system to track and review manuscripts.
  2. Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's website. For your submission use the SYMPHONYA TEMPLATE 2023. If you experience any difficulties or have any questions about submitting your manuscript, please contact the journal staff symphonya@unicusano.it.
  3. A concise and factual abstract is required. The abstract should state very briefly the purpose of the article, the principal results and major conclusions.
